Your role 

  • Deliver personalised care and support, helping customers live as independently as possible 

  • Support with washing, dressing, bathing and personal hygiene 

  • Administer medication safely and accurately 

  • Assist with shopping, cleaning and laundry tasks 

  • Help customers arrange and attend appointments 

  • Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and reducing social isolation 

  • Keep accurate records and follow safe practices, including risk assessments 

 

Your skills 

  • Personalised approach to care and ideally experiences supporting people with mental health needs 

  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach 

  • Strong organisational skills and basic literacy and numeracy 

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines 

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it 

  • Good communication skills to build strong relationships with customers 

  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
