Team Secretary

 

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

 

£28,369 - £29,862 per year

 

37.5 hours per week

 

We have an opportunity for a Team Secretary to join our Housing Operations Team based in Worcester, to deliver, co-ordinate, improve, maintain and monitor effective and efficient administrative systems to

support the delivery of services in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant regulations.

 

The role of Team Secretary will include:

  • Deliver, improve and maintain effective and efficient administration systems, including identifying and implementing new administrative systems as required
  • Support the team by ensuring accurate and timely information is collected, collated, prepared and presented
  • Assist in the maintenance of financial records and undertake financial transactions and payment processing
  • Oversee the arranging of meetings including agendas, attendance, information preparation, minute-taking and follow-up administration to ensure effective organisation and record keeping
  • Co-ordinate and plan team tasks and support the delivery of action plans to meet team targets

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to passes in GCSE English and Maths
  • NVQ3 in relevant area (e.g. business administration, customer service)
  • Experience of providing administrative services
  • Recent experience of providing administrative support to senior management
  • Some knowledge of housing and other relevant legislation
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
