Senior Employee Compliance Administrator
Worcester with a balance of home and office working
£26,982 - £28,402 per year (pro rata)
Full time and part time hours considered (30 - 35 hours per week)
The Senior Employee Compliance Administrator will be part of a team of 4 who are responsible for ensuring all new and existing employees across the Group meet internal and external legislative standards in relation to employment checks. This includes right to work checks, employment visas, NMC checks, SSSC checks and other HR compliance related processes such as sponsorship requests and monitoring of employees the Group sponsor.
The role of Senior Employee Compliance Administrator will include:
- Completing applications via the Home Office for the sponsorship of overseas employees and reporting required updates
- Running reports from various systems, analysing the data to highlight compliance issues or identifying future issues, and highlighting these to the relevant parties
- Monitoring employees whose compliance is time-limited, communicating timeframes with the business and ensuring the relevant checks and/or documentary updates are in place.
- Liaising with and providing advice to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels including potential employees, senior managers, People Business Partners, the Central Talent Team, hiring managers and Home Office contacts
- Reviewing and improving processes as and when required to ensure maximum efficiency
- Delivering training on employment compliancy
- Reporting and escalating any potential non compliance issues or queries to the relevant parties
Skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role which includes running reports and conducting data analysis is essential
- Excellent Excel skills with the ability to create, analyse and manipulate data
- A highly organised, methodical individual who can work well in a small team but has also the ability to take initiative when working alone
- Outstanding attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a confident & approachable manner
- Knowledge of Home Office right to work processes is advantageous

- Role salary is £26,982 annum (rising to £28,402 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance) (pro rata)
