£61,868 - £65,125 per year

We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP Cloud Administrator, known internally as SAP Technical Lead to join our Technology team based in Worcester. The role will report to the Technical Architect Lead with 7 Technical Architects currently within the team. The team provides oversight and quality assurance to enhance our SAP systems, working with the business to ensure that we get the best out of the system and that it remains relevant and current, and is aligned to our business goals and industry best practice. The current landscape of SAP is a hybrid of on premisses and cloud technologies and includes HR and Payroll, Finance, Treasury, Supplier Management, Real Estate, Repairs.
The role of SAP Cloud Administrator will include:
- Provide support and advice for key stakeholders relating to SAP architectures, solutions and methodologies to ensure that the operational needs of the Group are continuously met
- Deliver strategic business benefits, providing recommendations on the development of services using analysis to determine whether business requirements are being met and identify successful solutions
- Proactively and independently conduct the research of new technologies and their suitability for the Group, in order to make recommendations to develop and support business cases for all SAP initiatives
- Lead the effective resolution of technical infrastructure (cloud & on-premise), configuration, customisation developments and problems
- Support Group technology objectives and ensure requirements are aligned to business goals to deliver effective integration of technologies, helping ensure that a robust and optimised application framework is represented in the Technology business plan
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure delivery of service improvements in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner, reviewing deliverables and helping to ensure that approved projects adhere to design, quality specifications and budget
Skills and experiences:
- Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
- SAP Certification is essential
- Proven experience of managing SAP Business Technology Platform
- Proven SAP experience in Design, Developments, Customisations, Testing, Implementation and Documentation
- SAP Cross Module Integration knowledge
- Proven experience of working within an organisational structure which includes a group parent and subsidiary organisations
- Proven experience in managing large scale SAP platform related projects
- Substantial experience of analysing, diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Proven experience of the practical and successful application of TOGAF and/or ISEB enterprise architecture frameworks
- Substantial experience in other server infrastructure, application, database and support toolsets technologies
- Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

- Role salary is £44,192 with an additional policy allowance of £17,676 per annum (rising to £46,517 with an additional policy allowance of £18,607 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
