Legal Assistant - Conveyancing

 

Worcester

 

£23,744 per annum

 

35 hours per week

 

Temporary position for up to 12 months

 

 

As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant you will be dealing with all aspects of property resales for the business. You will sit within Conveyancing team which is a small team of 6 and this is apart of the wider legal services team. The main focus of the role will be to support the delivery of conveyancing services in line with legal obligations and the Group's policies.

 

The role of Legal Assistant – Conveyancing will include:

  • Communicating with different teams to request and gain information to then report this back to stakeholders
  • Raising purchase orders and dealing with invoices
  • Dealing with current caseload of files
  • Providing a range of support and guidance services to external companies, solicitors, estate agents and leaseholders

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience within a customer service focused admin role
  • A working knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current practice would be desirable
  • High accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
  • Proficient user in Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook or similar
