Business Analyst - Building Safety Services

 

Worcester based with balance of home and office working

 

£48,608 per year

 

35 hours per week

 

Temporary position for up to 12 months

 

We have an opportunity for a Business Analyst – Building Safety Services to join our Building Safety team. This role is key in ensuring that we deliver a sector leading and high-quality building safety capability with our priority being the safety of our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking detailed analysis, process mapping, recommending improvement measures for the business and supporting the delivery of the resulting projects.

 

The position sits within the Building Safety department which is responsible for ensuring that the Group meets all new and existing legislative and regulatory requirements with regards to building safety.

 

The role of Business Analyst - Building Safety Services will include:

  • Making recommendations to the Senior Management Team to support decisions on any area of business change                                     
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to identify business needs
  • Managing projects throughout the project lifecycle through the effective control and utilisation of resources (including budgets)
  • Reviewing key business issues and considering how best to improve business performance    
  • Conducting data analysis to establish areas requiring improvement                         
  • Documenting and implementing new and existing project management processes to achieve project efficiencies and cost reductions                                              
  • Ensuring processes are communicated to and fully understood by all stakeholders
  • Managing the recruitment, performance, training and development of quality people

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Able to demonstrate possession of a degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
  • Proven experience in undertaking business analysis and identifying business improvements
  • Experience of systems implementation and optimisation
  • Proven experience in delivering business improvement projects within time, quality and budget constraints
  • Proven experience in the creation of business cases for change and other project documentation
  • Proven experience of business requirement definition, leading to technology implementation
  • Proven experience of producing quality business documentation, including process documentation using BPMN
  • Proven experience of establishing deadlines and prioritising work loads
