Scheme Manager – Part Time
Stoke on Trent
£16,916 (pro rata)
25 hours per week
Temporary position for up to 9 months
The job sits within Sanctuary Housing Services which manages homes across England, providing
general rented housing, market rent properties, shared ownership and home ownership accommodation.
It also provides housing related services including lettings, debt management, tenancy management and
customer services support.
The purpose of this role is to encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence and to support the delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing management services that meet customer and organisational objectives.
The role of Scheme Manager will include:
- Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence, good health and wellbeing
- Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
- Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
- Providing administrative support, including maintaining accurate records in a timely manner
- Completing Sign Ups, Terminations, Settling in Visits
- Covering other schemes as and when required
Skills and experiences:
- Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Proven experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
- Working knowledge of good practice resident involvement or customer participation activities and practices
- Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills
- Proficient User of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
