Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Project Worker at our Young People Service, Fairfax Drive in Southend-on-Sea.

The role of Project Worker will include:
- Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment
- Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning
- Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
- Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits
- Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
- Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities
Skills and experiences:
- Proven experience of working with vulnerable people
- A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
- NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
