Redcar and Cleveland Services

 

£24,352 per annum (rising to £25,634 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

37.5 hours per week

Redcar and Cleveland Services have an opportunity in their team for an enthusiastic individual who wants to make a real difference in our residents’ lives. We are seeking an experienced Deputy Local Service Manager to make a real difference to the lives of our residents to support adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues across four of our CQC registered services.

The role of Deputy Local Service Manager will include:

  • Managing, recruiting, developing and training staff within appropriate legislative or NVQ frameworks and devising effective and well run staff rotas
  • Promoting best practice within the services by monitoring relationships with residents, relatives and visitors to ensure quality services are carried out by skillled staff
  • Ensuring effective care and support systems are in place and that we operate in a fully compliant way, in line with CQC regulations.
  • Preparing, promoting and coordinating care plans and risk assessments
  • Co-ordinating a large staff team across multiple locations and be willing to travel on a daily basis.

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven management or supervisory experience gained within a social care environment
  • Compassionate, caring and hard working with a hands on approach to care management
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
