Skilled Worker
London, E9 – Covering London and South East
£26,864 - £28,278 per year
40 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Skilled Worker to join our Planned Works team in London. You will be working alongside a team of Multi-Trade Operatives, assisting with the completion of works in Void & Tenanted properties. You will also manage site clearance and sustain material movements allowing the Multi-Trade Operative to concentrate on service delivery. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and eventually aiming to develop into a trade role once experienced. Full training will be provided along with a company van and power tools.
The role of Skilled Worker will include:
- Maintaining site cleanliness, loading skips, transporting waste to disposal facility
- Assisting Multi-Trade Operatives with tasks including construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
- Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution
- Ensuring customers are kept informed, providing accurate and timely information
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as and when required
Skills and experiences:
- To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in core subject. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Ability to use computerised systems for training purposes
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

- Role salary is £26,122 with an additional policy allowance of £741 per annum (rising to £27,497 with an additional policy allowance of £780 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
