Apprentice – Business and Administration

 

  • 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

 

  • Centurion House, Chester

 

  • Starting Salary Year 1: £9,126 per annum

 

  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

This job is based in our Chester office and reports into Sanctuary Group’s Customer Service Centre (CSC).  The CSC focuses on customer service excellence and delivers a range of services for all of our customers across the Group. 

 

This exciting Apprentice opportunity will see you delivering a customer focused and professional service to customers who visit the local office in person and who also communicate with us via other means.  The role will also provide quality administrative support to the team by supporting the delivery of a high quality, cost effective housing service.

 

The role of Apprentice will include:

  • Supporting the smooth running of the day-to-day administration tasks carried out in the front of house office
  • Delivering excellent customer service via the telephone, email and face to face
  • Handling payments as well as incoming and outgoing post
  • Ensuring all email workload is handled within appropriate timescales

 

Skills and experiences:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C or above (grades 4 – 9) or equivalent in Maths and English
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload on a daily basis – ensuring that your work is planned effectively so that deadlines are met
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Great communication and customer service skills both verbal and written
  • Adaptable and able to work well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic to develop as an individual and progress your career
