Bank Waking Nights Care and Support Assistant

 

Hilltop House, Bury St Edmunds

 

£11.67 per hour

 

Hours as and when required - Week days and weekends, 21:30pm to 7:30am

 

 

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Waking Nights Care and Support Assistant at Hilltop House, Bury St Edmunds.

The role of Bank Waking Nights Care and Support Assistant will include:

  • Delivering a high level of personalised care and support and encouraging our customers to live as independently as possible
  • Supporting customers with washing, dressing, bathing and hygiene
  • Administering medication
  • Responding to calls should a customer need support in an emergency
  • Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments
  • Implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our customers
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Passionate about providing a high standard of care to our customers
  • Previous experience working in a care related role
  • Comfortable working alone
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities
  • NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
