Treasury Analyst
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
£40,715 - £46,719 per year
35 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 17:00pm
We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our in-house Treasury team. The role of Treasury Analyst deals specifically with the reporting element of the Treasury function, ensuring the maintenance of accurate financial records. Whilst the role has no direct reports it will require the ability to work closely with Treasury colleagues and many other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the Treasury Reporting function. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who has had experience within a similar role and is ready for their next challenge.
The role of Treasury Analyst will include:
- Ensuring timely and accurate Treasury reporting, such as, Month End, Year End and Board reporting
- Reviewing processes to ensure on going best practice and providing recommendations or alternatives where required
- Coordinating business information to customers and stakeholders to enable effective decision making, business planning and financial management
- Supporting the Treasury Reporting Manager with day to day activities
Skills and experiences:
- Some experience of undertaking a similar role
- Previous experience of planning and prioritising workloads effectively in order to meet conflicting deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook is essential
- Some experience in the use of financial systems

- Role salary is £36,680 with an additional policy allowance of £4,034 per annum (rising to £38,611 with an additional policy allowance of £4,247 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
- If qualified Accountant role salary is £36,680 with an additional policy allowance of £7,702 per annum (rising to £38,611 with an additional policy allowance of £8,108 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
