Site Manager

 

Worcester

 

£52,513 - £55,276 per year

 

Company car or car allowance

 

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

 

We are looking to recruit a Site Manager to cover the Worcestershire area. You will sit within the construction team and be responsible for the management of the day-to-day delivery of construction programmes and projects by the in-house construction team. This is a varied and challenging role which would suit an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career.

 

The role of Site Manager will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of high-quality construction projects, ensuring these remain within agreed capital expenditure budgets
  • Monitoring all sub-contractors and notifying them of poor performance or work
  • Controlling all health and safety aspects on site ensuring they meet company policy and legal requirements at all times
  • Ensuring all work is undertook safely and actively look for improvements throughout the project
  • Providing technical support and advice for all construction schemes and solving any design or cost related issues
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on programme and quality and attending monthly site meeting with clients
  • Identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience within a similar role working on new builds
  • Qualified in SMSTS and first aid
  • Working knowledge of building regulations, Health & Safety legislation and current practices
  • A great rapport builder and communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
