Senior Administrator – Legal Services


Worcester with an anticipated balance of home and office working


£24,946 - £26,259 per year


35 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9:00am – 17:00pm


We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Senior Administrator – Legal Services to join our fast-paced Central Legal Services team. The small team is made up of 4 people which in turn makes up the wider Legal Services Department which consists of around 30 people. The department provides legal assistance and support to the Group to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to provide administration support to the wider team and be actively involved in identifying process improvements, proposing solutions and implementing new processes.


The role of Senior Administrator – Legal Services will include:

  • Line managing 2 team members by allocating duties, undertaking quality checks and improving processes
  • Arranging the ongoing training and development of 2 team members
  • Preparing and reviewing a large amount of legal documents to be signed by authorised signatories
  • Managing the central inbox for the department, ensuring queries get an appropriate level of response by allocating to team members and providing assistance with resolutions
  • Instructing external solicitors to carry out legal work, including processing instruction requests, purchase orders and invoices
  • Assisting with providing accurate reports that demonstrate key statistical information on KPIs, team performance and wider department performance
  • Undertaking administration tasks such as opening case files, updating Solis pages, creating rotas, filing, and making SAP amendments


Skills and experiences:

  • Strong administration background ideally gained within a senior administrator, process improvement or project coordinator role
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and in challenging situations
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A meticulous eye for detail is a key part of this role
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS systems including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Experience in a management or legal role is not essential, as full training and support will be provided
