Project Manager - CSSC




£32,280 per annum  


35 hours per week


Temporary position for up to 12 months



The role of Project Manager will join the Corporate Shared Service Centre team within wider Group Financial Services function. The team is responsible for coordinating and managing projects for new business activity and improvement projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to take the next step in their career.


The role of Project Manager will include:

  • Coordinating and managing projects within the Corporate Shared Service Centre (CSSC)
  • Ensuring clear guidance and advice on project management is provided to the team
  • Completing options analysis around processes within the CSSC for consideration by Senior Management
  • Developing business cases where required, in support of business improvements and the delivery of projects
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing them with progress updates


Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Relevant degree, management qualification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Ability to present disputes and recommendations based on analysis, logic and evidence
  • Proven knowledge of HR and payroll processes
  • Good working knowledge of producing reports and undertaking data analysis
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Proficient user in Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook would be advantageous
  • Experience in using SAP is desirable but training will be provided
