Compliance Caretaker

 

West Midlands – covering Birmingham, Worcestershire, Banbury and Telford

 

£23,835 - £25,090 per year

 

40 hours per week

 

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Compliance Caretaker, within our Midlands Estate Services Team, which is a key section of the Property Services division. The work will consist of completing compliance tests within the schemes in the Midlands region, which will ensure the safety of our residents and will include caretaking and cleaning in Birmingham and Worcestershire. A full training plan will be provided for the successful candidate, along with a van and all the tools you will need to complete the compliance testing and put things right if necessary.

 

The role of Compliance Caretaker will include:

  • Completing compliance checks of fire alarms, emergency lights and water testing
  • Recording test results and ensuring all documents and paperwork are completed
  • Clean communal areas
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in a good condition
  • Providing information to customers on the progress of the works
  • Identifying and reporting potential maintenance issues to ensure a safe environment

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience in a similar compliance testing role or completing similar tasks is essential
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
