Bank Night Care and Support Assistant


Noble House, Worcester


£9.23 to £9.51 per hour (dependent on qualifications) Subject to April 2021 pay review

Do you need flexibility in the days you work? Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as "relief roles" in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support. However you aren’t guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.


We are seeking a Bank Night Care and Support Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents and help them enjoy a happy, fulfilling retirement. Located in Sanctuary Grove, a purpose-built community on the outskirts of Worcester, Noble House provides apartments and communal facilities for over 55s. All our residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible and the design of our property fosters an independent lifestyle, with added peace of mind there is someone onsite 24 hours a day. We aim to offer a lively atmosphere and mixed community of people who have a range of care needs. You will be working as part of a team providing a range of flexible and personalised care and support.

The role of Bank Night Care and Support Assistant will include:


  • This is a lone working position however you will have on-call support
  • As a night position, the amount of hands-on care you will be providing is minimal
  • Conducting bed calls and morning calls to a high standard
  • Responding to calls should a resident need support in an emergency
  • Providing peace of mind for all residents by carrying out security checks throughout the night, checking on all buildings and residents


Skills and experiences:


  • Strong organisational skills, as well as functional literacy and numeracy
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can-do" attitude
  • Ideally with experience of working in a similar, care related role
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
