Trade Supervisor

 

Papermakers House, Swindon – Covering Swindon, Reading and Bristol

 

£33,230 - £34,979 per year

 

40 Hours per week

 

We are looking for a Trade Supervisor to join our Operations response team based in Swindon. You will line manage a team of 20 trade operatives across multiple sites and ensure work is carried out to a high quality during the day to day repairs. 

 

The role of Trade Supervisor will include:

  • Completing site surveys and meeting with clients to continuously improve our services
  • Processing orders for materials and managing resources effectively
  • Working to a high standard and meeting KPI's set out
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in services
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Assisting with the recruitment, performance management and development of staff 

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
  • Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop staff
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience in one or more relevant trades
  • Skilled user in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
