Service Delivery Manager – Commercial Gas
Can be located anywhere within the North or Northwest regions
£44,936 - £47,301 per year
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager - Commercial Gas to join our team based in the North or Northwest. As a Service Delivery Manager - Commercial Gas, you will cover different sites across the regions and you will coordinate and ensure the delivery of a high quality Commercial Gas Operations Service nationally that meets contract and service specifications and customer expectations. You will be provided with a company van and will have opportunities to develop your career within Sanctuary.
The role of Service Delivery Manager – Commercial Gas will include:
- Supervise the carrying out of construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications to external contractors
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications
- Support the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying and shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
- Assist operational staff in resolving difficult problems, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and in accordance with contract and service specifications
- Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties, specifically but not limited to commercial boilers
- Provide support to Commercial Gas operations manager in managing all external commercial gas contractors.
- Review all quotations received from external contractors, checking VFM, materials and labour, and works recommended.
- Carryout a % of on site audits, checking works quoted by external contractors
- Carryout a % of on site audits on quoted works completed by external contractors
- Review external contractors on site audits reports
- Work closely with compliance to ensure that all contractors have scheduled commercial servicing.
- Support with emergency situations and work with contractors to find the most appropriate solution
Skills and experiences:
- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Gas Auditing Qualification, G3 - Unvented/Hot Water Vessels Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a commercially focused Gas Operation
- Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing complex problems and implementing effective solutions
- Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Experience of effectively recruiting, managing and developing staff
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving license.
