As a Peripatetic Manager, you will assume responsibly for care homes that temporarily have no Manager as and when required as well as provide operational support for senior management including the Regional Director and Home Manager within the business area.  .

Where you’ll work

 

You will cover a portfolio of 7 homes across the Home Counties which cover the following areas Oxfordshire, Westminster, Hampshire and Milton Keynes , you may also be required to support homes across our full home network, should the need arise.

  • Peripatetic Managers ensure the home complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing, maintaining and monitoring procedures and maintaining awareness of major developments and legislation within the sector

  • You’ll have a commercial mind and will run the home that meets business objectives including control of budgets and economic viability
  • Embracing new business from enquiring residents and building relationships with your local community will be a daily part of your day.  Keeping your home safe, full and fun are your key objectives
  • We have a great head office team to support you with your management of recruitment, performance and development of quality staff to deliver the very best care and life enrichment in your home
  • It’s very simple – if you can be the best Peripatetic Manager you can be by being kind and supportive in every way to our residents, their families and our colleagues, then we’re all doing a great job.

 

You’ll have previous Management experience in a residential and or preferred nursing setting from a minimum of two different care homes, along with strong operational management experience. A valid NMC PIN is also required for this role. 

 

A current driving licence and the ability to travel extensively will be needed, you may be required to support homes in different regions.
