Project Worker – Part Time

Stepping Stone Court, London, N18

£9.89 per hour (rising to £10.41 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

11.5 hours per week – Thursday and Sunday

 

We are seeking a Project Worker  to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Stepping Stone Court provides supported housing for ten adults aged 18-65, with medium-level mental health support needs. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.                                       

The role of Project Worker will include:

  • Ensuring that relevant support is provided for our clients to maximise their own potential and independence
  • Regularly assessing the needs of our clients, and updating support plans
  • Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required
  • Managing and administering medication to clients

Skills and experiences:

  • Sound knowledge of housing management, including voids and arrears management
  • Good understanding of occupancy agreements
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, sourcing innovative solutions to enhance independence of residents
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
