We have an opportunity for a Leasehold Contract Manager – PFI to join our team. The team will oversee the PFI contract with Newham and will work closely with the Operational, Property and Financial teams. As a Leasehold Contract Manager – PFI you will ensure compliance with the PFI contract and work with the Local Authority to hand back at the end of the contract.

 

The role of Leasehold Contract Manager - PFI will include:

  • Monitoring of the contract, identifying potential performance issues and where necessary escalating with managers to ensure no performance penalty is identified
  • Liaison with the Council and repairs contractors
  • Act as a change agent for service improvement, and work with colleagues across the business to develop/improve processes and maximise revenue around the PFI
  • Build highly effective relationships with third party stakeholders including Freeholders, Managing Agents, Right to Manage companies, customers and any/all third parties
  • Manage complex service charge disputes for the service area in line with policy
  • Regular travel to visit locations in London and Newham

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in delivery of high quality Homeowner/Shared Owner services
  • Significant experience in effective financial management of contracts and services
  • Previous experience in project management and management of similar PFI contracts
  • Significant experience of high quality stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and good practice including Section 20 consultations
  • Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable

Role Salary is dependent on successful candidate’s home location as below:

  • London area - £63,184 per annum (rising to £66,509 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance)
  • South East region- £57,490 per annum (rising to £60,516 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance)
  • Elsewhere in the UK - £54,752 per annum (rising to £57,634 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance)
