Quality Assurance Manager – FRA Audits – North

£44,320 - £46,653 per year plus company car or car allowance
35 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our fire compliance delivery team, including 18 fire risk assessors, 5 fire project managers and a QA Auditor. You will be in volved in the auditing and validation of fire risk assessments, completion of desktop and face to face audits with assessors based in the North, Northwest and Scotland regions. You will be the 2nd signature sign off on high risk fire risk assessments.
The role of Quality Assurance Manager – FRA Audits will include:
- Undertake quality reviews of Fire Risk Assessments completed in the Group program and assess business performance against regulatory and service delivery requirements
- Plan, manage and implement audit review programmes, to assess Compliance performance against regulatory and service delivery requirements for the fire operations FRA assessor delivery team
- Lead on the Quality Assurance issue investigations in relation to Fire Risk Assessments to assess Compliance impact, root cause and resolution for the fire assessor operational delivery team
- Manage the development of action plans, in accordance with review outcomes and good practice, to assist Operations in improving service delivery and performance
Skills and experiences:
- Level 4 diploma in fire risk assessments (minimum), FRA validators certification
- Proven experience of providing administrative support to senior management
- Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads

- Role salary is £37,414 with an additional policy allowance of £6,906 per annum (rising to £39,383 with an additional policy allowance of £7,270 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
