Multi-Trade Operative

 

Leeds – covering West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas

 

£33,702 - £35,476 per year

 

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

 

We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team based in Leeds. This role sits within the Planned and Minor Works Team and will involve a mixture of team and lone working. With a company van and tools included the role will cover West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

 

The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:

  • Carry out larger day to day jobs, voids, major repairs and capital replacements
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

 

Skills and experiences:

  • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (plumbing,carpentry,electrical) NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – plumbing, plastering, joinery installation is desired
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

 

As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications.  Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
