Onboarding Team Manager

37.5 hours per week

 

We have an opportunity for an Onboarding Team Manager to join our team based in Hull. The Onboarding Team manage the delivery of our high-quality housing support service that meets the identified needs of our prospective and current customers in accordance with allocation and lettings procedures. The role will manage a small team of approximately 5 staff.

 

The role of Onboarding Team Manager will include:

  • Manage a team to ensure administrative systems are managed effectively and efficiently to support the delivery of accurate & up to date waiting lists
  • Manage the provision of a range of housing options which helps customers maximise the search for suitable accommodation, advising on our allocations policy in accordance with policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Manage a team to deliver a high-quality service, focussing housing customers and rightsizing opportunities, ensuring applicant's information is effectively administered, to enable the right homes for customers
  • Ensure the key management process for terminating tenancies is followed in a timely and effective manner, liaising with customers and internal teams
  • Manage the effective recruitment, performance, and development of the team, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively
  • Respond to complaints and customer feedback to meet customer expectations, effectively communicating progress and outcomes to the customer

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of delivery high quality tenancy services
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Previous experience of managing staff
  • Experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience in the use of housing management systems, such as DocuSign, Abritias, Huume, Locata or similar, is desirable
  • Relevant professional qualification, preferably in a business-related subject
