As a Peripatetic Manager, you will provide operational support for senior management including the Regional Director, Regional Manager and Home Managers within the business area.

Where you’ll work

 

You will report to the Regional Managers who cover the Directorate of Scotland in a supportive role.  Travelling to our residential and nursing homes that cover these areas, and work with the Home Managers to achieve the high standards of care we provide.

  • Peripatetic Managers ensure the home complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing, maintaining and monitoring procedures and maintaining awareness of major developments and legislation within the sector
  • You’ll have a commercial mind and will run the home that meets business objectives including control of budgets and economic viability
  • Embracing new business from enquiring residents and building relationships with your local community will be a daily part of your day.  Keeping your home safe, full and fun are your key objectives

You’ll have previous Management experience in a residential and/or nursing setting from a minimum of two different care homes, along with strong operational management experience

 

A current driving licence and the ability to travel extensively across Scotland will be needed, and working in partnership alongside our other Scotland Peripatetic Manager
