Title:  Night Care and Support Assistant - Part Time

Night Care & Support Assistant – Part Time

Montague Road Nursing Home, Felixstowe

£7.70 to £8.10 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Various hours available (7 day working rota including weekends and bank holidays)

We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.

The role of Care & Support Assistant will include

  • Providing a high quality person centred care and support service in line with client and organisational needs
  • Supporting people to have personal care with dignity and respect.
  • Supporting the people who live in the home to have positive lives.
  • Promoting safe practices and undertake risk assessments and manage the implement safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our clients

Skills and experiences

  • Person-centered approach ideally with experience of working in a similar care related role
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
  • Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
  • NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
