Care and Support Assistant – Part Time


Exning Court, Exning


£8.42 to £8.68 per hour (dependent on qualifications)


30 hours per week – to include every other weekend



We are seeking a Care and Support Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Consisting of 34 flats, Exning Court is a retirement living scheme for the over 55’s which provides both housing and care services. We support our residents to be as independent as possible in their own homes, within a safe community.

The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:

  • Providing personal care and administering medication to residents
  • Helping residents with light domestic duties within their homes, including tidying and laundry
  • Supporting residents with shopping and making their own meals
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting any concerns
  • Helping residents access and participate in activities
  • Opportunities for overtime available if desired

Skills and experiences:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willing to work toward
  • Previous experience in a care environment is not essential if you have the right attitude
  • An enthusiastic and hardworking team player
  • Honest and reliable
  • A flexible attitude as every day at Exning Court is different and the team and community are always open to new ideas and trying exciting things
  • Functional literacy and numeracy skills
