Sanctuary Housing have an opportunity for an experienced regional construction Health and Safety Advisor to join its busy construction safety team based in the South East of England.

 

The construction Safety team are responsible for providing construction related health and safety advice to both Sanctuary Housing’s Development team, as the Client and to its internal house builder Beech Grove Homes as its Principal Contractor who are responsible for the delivery of the Group’s affordable housing, private sale, grant funded, development and regeneration programmes.

 

Your knowledge and experience will provide high quality health and safety advice in support of Site Management teams where you will be responsible for undertaking ISO 45001 safety related audits, delivering training and leading on the digital safety management system so you will need to be tech savvy. There will be a need for regular travel plus some overnight stays where required.

 

To be successful in the role You will need previous new build housing and apartment building experience using both traditional block and beam and RC framing techniques alongside a sound working knowledge of Temporary Works management. You will hold, as a minimum the NEBOSH General Certificate in Construction and Technical membership of IOSH though ideally already hold a SHEM Diploma (or actively working toward) and CITB membership at MAP level.
