Administration Officer

 

Lancaster Way, Ely

 

 £19,594 per annum (rising to £20,625 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

 

40 hours per week

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join our Responsive Maintenance team based in the East. In this varied and challenging role you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a large trade team of operatives. Your tasks will include updating systems and records, processing timesheets, overtime claims and raising purchase orders for goods and services.

 

The role of Administration Officer will include:

  • Producing and analysing reports from operating workforce systems to provide effective management information
  • Liaising closely with other areas of the business, stakeholders and external customers in relation to the progress and completion of works
  • Compiling and collating documentation; to include risk assessments, post inspections and stock takes
  • Organising and coordinating training for the teams from both internal and external providers
  • Raising purchase orders for goods and services

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Recent experience within a similar administrative/coordinator position is essential
  • A proven ability of prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
  • Some experience of producing and analysing data is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (or similar)
