Factoring Manager

 

Burns Road, Cumbernauld

 

£42,549 per year (pro rata)

 

37.5 hours per week

 

Temporary position for up to 3 months (with possibility of extension)

 

We have an opportunity for a Factoring Manager to join our team based in Cumbernauld. The main purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of a high quality factoring service that meets the identified needs of customers in accordance with the required local offers and in line with Sanctuary in Scotland’s business plan.

 

The role of Factoring Manager will include:

  • Managing the day to day running of the Factoring team, including line management of staff
  • Issue invoices and deal with our factored properties including the billing and assisting in communal repairs
  • Manage all complaints for the service area in line with policy
  • Liaising with factored owners on communal repairs
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Excellent knowledge of factoring legislation, debt recovery, arrears and repairs
  • SVQ3 in relevant area
  • Institute of Housing qualification
  • Proven experience of delivering high quality factoring services
  • Proven experience of managing staff
  • Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
