Part Time General Assistant

 

New Court, Lansdown Road, Cheltenham, GL50 2JG

 

£11.44 per hour

 

25 hours per week, working days are Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 12pm to 7:30pm, Sunday 11am to 4pm, and Monday 10am to 5pm.

The role of General Assistant will include:

  • Providing a waiter service in our in-house restaurant, taking orders, serving food and drinks
  • Assisting the chef with food prep and cleaning
  • Manning the bar and operating an EPOS till system
  • Providing an efficient service in a luxury environment for the owners, family, and friends
  • Assisting in creating a homely atmosphere to the owners
  • Accurate cash handling and reconciliation duties at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring that the highest level of customer care and service are maintained at all times

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Able to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy
  • Some experience of bar work in a hotel or other residential setting
  • Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
  • Good communication and customer care skills
