Housekeeping Supervisor




£20,808 per annum inclusive of policy allowance (rising to £21,903 inclusive of policy allowance after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)


Sanctuary Students are looking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated Housekeeping Supervisors to work at our accommodation site in Addenbrookes, Cambridge.  


The role of Housekeeping Supervisor will include

  • Assisting the management team to ensure that the accommodation is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard for our students, doctors, nurses, patients and key workers.
  • Leading a team of staff, allocate work fairly, and carry out in depth room checks
  • Undertaking some cleaning duties


Skills and experiences -

  • As important members of the team, you will ideally have supervisory and cleaning experience in a hospitality or residential environment
  • Willingness to help other team members and residents
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • You may be expected to update our booking system with current room status therefore a knowledge of IT systems would be an advantage
  • A British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) is desirable but not essential

Role Salary is £19,817 with an additional policy allowance of £990 per annum (rising to £20,860 with an additional policy allowance of £1,043 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
