Female Social Inclusion Coordinator – Part Time


Rosary Priory, Bushey




21 hours per week - 7 hours shifts between Monday to Sunday

If this sounds like you we have an amazing opportunity for a Female Social Inclusion Coordinator to join our team at Rosary Priory and help make a real difference to the lives of our eleven elderly Sisters based at the Rosary Priory Convent.  


At Rosary Priory, we provide personal care and support for the retired Sisters from the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena Newcastle Natal, ensuring they have comfort, independence and peace of mind during their retirement. You will be working on the first floor of the convent, the area that Sanctuary Supported Living manage.


You will use your skills to work with colleagues to provide a personalised service and achieve the best outcome for our Sisters. If you want to make a positive impact to people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team.

The role of Female Social Inclusion Coordinator will include:

  • Supporting the Manager with administrative duties, relating to the day to day functioning of the service
  • Conducting monthly house meetings and minute taking
  • Supporting the sisters to attend outpatient appointments
  • Welcoming visitors and callers
  • Acting as a point of information for our Sisters, staff and key stakeholders
  • Dealing with emergencies on occasion
  • Organising regular one to one or group activities for the Sisters and organising festivals and events at Rosary Priory


Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths
