Fire Plumber

Banbury - covering the Midlands

 

£31,076 per annum (rising to £32,711 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week

Flexible approach with some weekends, evenings, standby and call out duties

 

We are looking for Fire Plumbers to join our Fire Servicing and Repair team. You will form part of a dedicated team of engineers, responsible for carrying out routine maintenance on life safety systems across the Group’s property portfolio in the midlands. A comprehensive training programme will be provided, including a three week induction, whereby you will gain formal trade qualifications.

 

The role of Fire Plumber will include:

  • Carry out fire servicing, repair, and installation works in compliance with relevant regulations to ensure the Group's properties are compliant and safe
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications
  • Carry out maintenance of systems including dry risers, fire extinguishers and sprinklers to ensure safe and compliant properties

 

What we look for in you:

  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ3 or other accredited plumbing qualification
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) or similar
  • Experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
  • Working knowledge of fire safety issues
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
