Assistant Business Analyst

 

This post can be based at any of our Scotland offices – Aberdeen, Dundee, Cumbernauld, Toryglen, Glasgow or Priesthill, Glasgow

 

£35,137 - £36,986 per year

 

37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

 

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Business Analyst to join our Service Development team in Scotland. As an Assistant Business Analyst, you will support the work of the Service Development Manager. You will work with different teams and roles across Sanctuary to effect changes for the benefit of our colleagues and customers.

 

The role of Assistant Business Analyst will include:

  • Conducting detailed data analysis and research into areas requiring improvement, best practice, presenting data and making recommendations for business change
  • Undertaking project tasks, producing and maintaining documentation and monitoring projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and supporting the review of key business issues whilst considering how best to improve business performance and providing advice and guidance on potential issues, opportunities and outcomes
  • Supporting the testing and implementation of project management processes and review and updating relevant policies and procedures and system / intranet information

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Experience in supporting business improvement projects within time, quality and budget constraints
  • Proven experience in undertaking business analysis and identifying business improvements
  • Excellent customer care and communication skills
  • Proven experience of producing quality business documentation and updating of systems
  • Good presentation skills and the ability to think creatively and laterally
  • Knowledge, understanding and skills in Microsoft products
