Technical Product Owner
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
£66,895 - £70,410 per year
35 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Technical Product Owner to join our team in Worcester. This role sits within Technology Delivery and works closely with Product Owners, Project Managers and Technical Architects to ensure technology products, particularly SAP and Salesforce align to enterprise architecture standards, technical strategy and governance, while supporting collaboration and consistency across product streams.
On a typical day, the role works with product teams and architects to apply standards, unblock delivery, review upcoming changes and releases, communicate technical impacts, and participate in governance forums to ensure sustainable, well‑aligned delivery.
The role of Technical Product Owner will include:
- Applying expert technical judgment to ensure adherence to architecture standards and represent architecture principles within product teams, including those delivering SAP and Salesforce solutions
- Communicating the technical strategy regularly to ensure team alignment across all technology stacks, including SAP and Salesforce and ensure that technology change remains aligned, sustainable and scalable
- Building and developing good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring any issues are identified and dealt with appropriately
- Supporting the Technical Architects to ensure they are informed and connected to each other
- Managing technical dependencies and the architectural integrity of products, including integrations with SAP and Salesforce platforms
- Understanding the release plan to flag potential conflict. Arbitrate conflicting technical requirements or priorities from stakeholders, balancing enterprise architecture needs
Skills and experiences:
- Able to demonstrate possession of a degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
- Enterprise Architecture qualifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- Certifications in SAP and Salesforce architecture and integration patterns
- ITIL, AGILE Certification
- Significant experience of Architecture standards management and Governance
- Significant experience in systems and enterprise architecture, including integration patterns for SAP and Salesforce

- Effective 1st April role salary is £56,110 with an additional policy allowance of £10,784 per annum (rising to £59,059 with an additional policy allowance of £11,351 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
