Solicitor/ Legal Executive - Property

 

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

 

£40,056 - £42,165 per year

 

35 hours per week

 

We have an opportunity for a Solicitor/ Legal Executive – Property to join our Legal Services – Property team, based in Worcester. The Legal Services team provided legal assistance and support to the company to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

 

The role of Legal Manager – Property will include:

  • Managing your own caseload of legal work including sales, leases, infrastructure agreements (including S106 Agreements, S38 and 278 Agreements), licences, easements and other property related transactions together with title reviews and resolving title issues
  • Managing property related legal queries by providing cost effective and efficient support and advice to operational teams and staff
  • Review and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service and identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Junior Solicitor, FILEX or Licenced Conveyancer
  • Working knowledge of property law, housing regulations and current best practice
  • Experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
  • Proven experience of managing staff
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook and teams
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills is desirable
