Site Labourer


Sanctuary House, Worcester


£18,200 per annum (rising to £19,158 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)


35 hours per week


We are looking for a Site Labourer to join our Construction team based on our Development site in Drakes Broughton, Worcester. The Site Labourer assist in the day to day delivery of construction programmes and projects while ensuring compliance with design and quality standards. You’ll gain great experience, work with a wide range of professionals and have excellent personal development opportunities.


The role of Site Labourer will include:

  • Carrying out manual work including digging and lifting, as well as the manual handling of materials and operating tools
  • Assisting the Site Manager by maintaining a high level of security on site at all times by ensuring no unauthorised personnel obtain access
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained and kept in a good condition
  • Undertaking general site administration tasks when required
  • Ensuring good communication levels with are kept at all times with relevant individuals


Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience of working on a construction site undertaking a similar role
  • CSCS card is essential and first aid training is advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety best practice in construction
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work loads
  • Basic understanding on Email and internet communications
