Senior Maintenance Trainer – Care
Location – Based in the Midlands with weekly National travel
Salary £37,000 per annum
35 hours per week plus company car

The Role
Sanctuary Care are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Maintenance Trainer to identify training and induction needs, redevelop existing practical training and deliver to circa 130 maintenance staff on site from Scotland to the South West of England.
Reporting to the Learning Development Manager the role will, develop and implement Care Maintenance Learning and Development interventions including new maintenance staff inductions and supporting acquisitions or new build care homes ensuring compliance to Sanctuary Care policies and procedures.
In addition you will deliver and evaluate innovative, cost effective Learning and Development solutions in line with regulatory requirements and practices across the business, supporting operational planning and recommending improvements to support the needs of operations and enable staff members to perform at consistently high level, as well as Manage technical training projects ensuring that they are compliant with relevant legislation and meet the needs of the business.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you will currently be working in a similar role with practical experience of working in the maintenance and care sectors with a Level 3 Trade qualification. In addition you will have experience of designing and delivering innovative and effective learning and development solutions and working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and good practice principles in the maintenance sector. Regular, weekly travel will be expected so a full driving license is essential; the role will also require a willingness to undertake regular overnight stays
