Qualifications Administrator – Part time

 

Worcester based with an anticipated balance of home and office working

 

£19,732 - £20,770 per year

 

30 hours per week

 

Temporary position for up to 14 months

 

We are looking for a Qualifications Administrator to join our Qualifications Administration team based in Worcester. This role will involve supporting the delivery of qualifications to the RQF, ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost effective services in line with business requirements. Responding effectively to and resolving queries will be an important part of this job.  This role is required to operate within HR Services policies and procedures in the provision of their advice and interpret them accordingly.  The role also operates within the policies and procedures as required by external organisations and the jobholder will be able to seek guidance from the Qualifications Administration Team Leader as needed.

 

The role of Qualifications Administrator will include:

  • Supporting the quality assurance process in relation to the delivery of qualifications under the QCF and other accredited programmes
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met
  • Supporting the operational delivery of a cost-effective qualifications service by operating within appropriate policies, procedures and external standards
  • Complete, maintain and monitor accurate employee records to ensure staff are given access to learning and development in accordance with organisational requirements
  • Supporting the co-ordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers

 

Skills and experiences:

  • NVQ Level 2 in relevant area (e.g. Business administration) or knowledge and ability at an equivalent role
  • Working knowledge of current RQF qualifications and understanding of awarding body requirements
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Working knowledge of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

The full time salary for this role is £21,514 with an additional policy allowance of £1,506 per annum based on 35 hours per week (rising to £22,647 with an additional policy allowance of £1,585 per annum after 12 months
