PERIPATETIC SERVICE MANAGER

 

NATIONAL

 

£36,974 PER ANNUM (RISING TO £38,920 AFTER 12 MONTHS, SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE) PLUS A COMPANY CAR


37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

We support people through supported housing, move-on accommodation, CQC registered services and floating support, as well as home care and extra care. We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, people with mental health needs and older people.

 

The role of Peripatetic Service Manager will include

  • To step into services at short notice in the absence of a permanent manager
  • To implement immediate action plans and recovery strategies to turn around a non-compliant service
  • To manage services in times of change to ensure the continuity of compliant, safe & effective services which meet customer, organizational and financial needs
  • To provide guidance and support to inexperienced managers in order to ensure service compliance

     

    Skills and experiences

  • Registered Manager Award or similar relevant professional qualification
  • Proven knowledge and experience of working with multiple client groups
  • Proven experience of auditing services, responding to gaps in service delivery  and achieving  resolutions within short timeframes
  • Proven experience in managing care, supported living or retirement living services
  • Some experience of budget preparation and cost control would be desirable
  • Due to the nature of this role a full, current driving licence is essential as is a willingness to travel as there is regular time away from office base, 2-3 nights per week
