Marketing Officer – SSL – Temporary position for up to 14 months

 

Worcester based with an anticipated balance of home and office working

 

£30,402 per annum (rising to £32,002 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

37.5 hours per week – Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

 

 

Why work for us?

We are seeking a Marketing Officer to join the Sanctuary Supported Living Marketing team which provides marketing, communications and PR support for Sanctuary Supported Living’s 600+ services and Sanctuary Retirement Living’s 29 services. 

 

We are looking for a creative communications professional, with strong attention to detail to write and deliver effective and timely marketing, PR and communications to promote the Sanctuary Supported Living and Sanctuary Retirement Living brands and individual services, as well as to support the operation’s growth and brand vision.

 

You will be involved in producing high quality digital and print promotional materials as part of integrated marketing activities for B2B and B2C audiences. You will be expected to liaise with internal stakeholders for developing and writing internal communications and translating their requirements into marketing, advertising, PR or social media activity to raise the profile of individual services, maximise publicity opportunities and maintain occupancy, while reporting on measurable outcomes.

 

Your proactive approach, great communication and organisational skills, a willingness to challenge the status quo and suggest new ideas or approaches when appropriate will provide the team with the support it needs to meet its objectives.

 

Skills and experiences:

  • A good knowledge and understanding of brand and the importance of following brand guidelines and styles (both visual and written) throughout all literature and brand touchpoints
  • Practical experience of working in a marketing and communications environment is essential    
  • Competent written and verbal communication skills, including over email, on the phone and face-to-face
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, tackle multiple high priority projects at one time and prioritise workload
  • Some experience analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions is desirable
  • Working knowledge of data protection, copyright laws, other legislation and current good practice would be advantageous
  • Practical knowledge of proof reading, copy editing and use of plain English
