Finance Officer




£20,478 per annum (rising to £21,556 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)


35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join a team of 6 who are responsible for the central costs for the Group. The role will involve budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, stakeholder management and reporting.


The role of Finance Officer will include:

  • Responsible for preparing month end accounts
  • Handling and resolving any queries from stakeholders
  • Submitting quarterly forecasts in line with accounting standards
  • Preparing management accounts packs for stakeholders
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for management to review and to preparing budgets on an annual basis


Skills and experiences:

  • Excellent communication skills and confident in liaising with colleagues across the business
  • Ability to produce timely and accurate information
  • Knowledge of finance regulations, legislation and current practise is desirable
  • AAT qualified or on final level of qualification
  • Experience in a customer service or administration role is essential
  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience of SAP/BPC is advantageous
