Finance Officer


£20,076 per annum (rising to £21,133 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

35 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join part of the Service Charge Accounting team. In this role, you will support the reconciliation of accounts to ensure income and expenditure is appropriately accounted whilst also ensuring data is accurately recorded. The ideal candidate will come from a finance background and will possess excellent data analysis skills.

The role of Finance Officer will include:

  • Assisting with the reconciliation of accounts to ensure income/expenditure is appropriately accounted for and data accurately recorded
  • Providing an effective administration service ensuring workloads are manageable in line with business requirements
  • Supporting the Senior Finance Officer and the wider Service Charge Team
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external customers

Skills and experiences:

  • Recent experience within a similar role is essential, ideally within a Service Charge team
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workload
  • Experience analysing and diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as experience  extracting and interrogating digital data
  • Experience of using SAP, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
