Care and Support Team Leader

 

Noble House, Worcester

 

£9.44 per hour (rising to £9.94 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

37.5 hours per week – Includes early and late shifts with some weekends

 

 

We are seeking a Care and Support Team Leader to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Located in Sanctuary Grove, a purpose-built community on the outskirts of Worcester, Noble House provides apartments and communal facilities for over 55s. The role of Care and Support Team Leader will include:

  • Assessing residents’ needs
  • Supervising and supporting a team of Care and Support Assistants
  • Managing and monitoring plans to ensure a high standard of care and support is offered
  • Managing the development of staff to ensure skilled staff are available to meet business needs
  • Identifying and reporting hazards and faults, completing risk assessments and ensuring equipment is kept in working order
  • Covering shifts using the rolling rota system
  • Carrying out and completing medication audits
  • Allocating staff holidays
  • Carrying out on-call duties (out of hours support)

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in a care and support environment is essential
  • Previous experience in a staff supervision role is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • NVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential
