Accounts Payable Administrator – Part Time

 

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

 

£13,500 - £14,211 per year

 

25 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day

 

 Temporary position for 12 months

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Accounts Payable team which consists of 24 people and forms part of our Corporate Shared Service Centre. The team is responsible for processing and paying an average of 6,500 invoices per week. You will deliver, improve and maintain effective and efficient administration systems. As well as supporting the delivery of our Finance Services by providing managers and staff with clear guidance and advice in regards to queries, you will consistently deliver high quality customer focused services.  

 

The role of Accounts Payable Administrator will include:

  • Data validation and entry for large volumes of invoices
  • Processing and addressing urgent queries, ensuring these are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Working as part of a team to achieve daily processing targets
  • Occasional support with invoice processing and adhoc administration
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders, assisting in addressing any issues or shortfalls

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to process large volumes of data whilst adhering to deadlines
  • Experience of organising own workload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
