Estate Technician

 

Weston-Super-Mare – covering the South West

 

£20,837 - £21,934 per year

 

40 hours per week

 

We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team based at Weston Foyer. The role is responsible mainly for void works along with adhoc duties. Within this role you will be required to cover the Southwest area where a weekly rota will be given to provide information on the sites and jobs you will be attending. As an Estate Technician you will join a team of 13 Operatives and 1 Supervisor and will be provided with a van and tools for company use. Development opportunities are available within the team for you to develop your skills and career.

 

The role of Estate Technician will include:

  • Clearing and cleaning of void properties
  • Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
  • Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Some practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery an advantage
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Recent experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
