Maintenance Assistant – Part Time

£8.11 per hour


20 hours per week

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to maintain a safe and well present environment at our Elizabeth House scheme by carrying out general maintenance in accordance with service user and business needs.


The role of Maintenance Assistant will include

  • Carrying out maintenance and decorating repairs
  • Following safe working practices; working in accordance with local and legislative procedures
  • Acting as a point of contact for service users in relation to duties, providing accurate and timely information on progress
  • Maintaining accurate records and following administrative procedures to meet orgaisation standards


Skills and experiences

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role is desirable
  • A positive “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
